Cable Television Access Fund

Town of Exeter New Hampshire Official Website

The CATV Fund was adopted in 2010 by the Town of Exeter to support cable access television.  Franchise fees paid into the fund are split 50/50 with the general fund.  Expenses paid out of the fund include a portion of IT Director's salary for EXTV activities (20%), part-time assistance for the public, education and government channels, Exeter's share of the E-channel assessment, contracted oversight of the public access channel, and ten hours per week for SAU assistance that operates Channel 98 studios on behalf of the Town.  The Select Board are responsible for approving expenditures out of the fund.
