Water and Sewer Fleet

The Water & Sewer Department's high pressure jet cleaning/vacuum machine is often called the "Vactor" Truck. The Vactor is used by the Water & Sewer division of Public Works and is used to preform important maintenance to Exeter's Sewer System. It can preform trench less water jet excavations or clear clogged water service and sewer lines. This vehicle is routinely used to meet mandated sewer maintenance requirements of the NHDES and EPA, making it a key piece of Exeter's Fleet.
The 6-wheel dump truck is a key vehicle in the Water Sewer Department of the Public Works Department. The dump truck is used not only in everyday activities but also at water & sewer line breaks. In these emergency situations, the utility and capacity of the 6-wheel dump truck make it an indispensable piece of equipment at the scene of any service call throughout the year.
The loader and backhoe are used extensively by the Water & Sewer Department. Its' versatility makes it essential to not only everyday activities but also critical situations.  The equipment is commonly used to dig, break pavement, and excavating areas below ground which contain water and sewer lines.
This multi-response truck is a crucial piece of the Water and Sewer Division's equipment. The vehicle is used as the platform for the mobile valve operator and the water main flushing and wastewater collection inspection submersible camera. The vehicle and its equipment are used not only for everyday maintenance that is required but also is as the Town's "first responder" vehicle to water and sewer line breaks.
The Water & Sewer Department's Wachs Travel Vacuum & Ingersoll Rand Trailer Air Compressor are two important pieces of equipment. They are used during everyday activities, water and sewer breaks, valve and curb stop box cleaning, and are considered essential to daily water and sewer operations.
