Join us, Exeter Parks & Recreation for our annual Summer Concert in the Park Series at Swasey Parkway. There is no admission fee and the bands are selected from throughout New England. Head down to the Parkway on Thursday nights and check out the music.
The lineup for this year's Summer Concert Series is posted below. We have been able to bring back Entrain, a premier band that was rained out two years ago. Read through the dates and descriptions and we think you will see why this is our best lineup ever. Please remember that all concerts will be held at Swasey Parkway. Come on down and enjoy the show!

Their collective resume includes stints with such diverse players as Bo Diddley, Carly Simon, Chuck Berry, Southside Johnny, James Montgomery, Flor De Cana, and Blood, Sweat, and Tears.|

Jumbo Circus Peanuts: New Hampshire's legendary party band playing New Orleans style of funk, R&B, Pop, Soul and Swing are back! They will rick the Parkway followed by our customary fireworks to end the American Independence Festival. Bring the whole family! Fireworks sponsored by the Town of Exeter.
|July 25, 2013 at 6:00pm||Drive All Night: Drive All Night is a rock, soul, rhythm and blues party band that loves to perform and play all the party favorites and have a good time. Originally formed in 1985 on the campus of UMass and re-formed in 2010, they really did "get the band back together." They are a complete 6 piece band with a smoking horn section and three diverse lead vocalists.|
|August 1, 2013 at 6:00pm||Bushrod Washington: Many of you may remember the sound of this band but may not recognize the name. Bushrod Washington, formally known as Old Abode will be closing out the Summer Concert Series with a bang. In the summer of 2011, still under the name Old Abode joined forces with Grammy nominated producer Francisco Santos to record their debut album, "Before the Day." With a wide variety of influences from Wilco to My Morning Jacket, the Beatles to MGMT, their unique and dynamic brand of indie rick is augmented in a live setting with non-traditional rock instrumentation (violin, mandolin, and banjo) complimenting electric guitars. Great reviews from last year's concert!|
