Property Tax Bills

In Exeter, property tax is billed in two installments. If you are looking for the total tax due for a particular year, use the 2nd installment bill.

If you are in search of a prior year bill or an omitted bill (Jeopardy, Yield, Excavation or Current Use) please contact collections@exeternh.gov.

PRE-PAYMENTS 

Prepayments are accepted only during the month of February though November.

Reason: At the end of the year accounts need to be zero, meaning if you have a credit on your account it will be refunded to you.

Also: if you pay a prepayment in December, when bills are being generated, it could not be calculated on the new bill causing amounts to be different.
