Exeter YMCA Project

The Planning Board recently gave the approval to the YMCA to build a new facility at the site of the old Exeter Area Junior High on Linden Street.  Information about the project and contact information can be found by clicking on the link below.  The project also has a Facebook page that you can 'like.'

The old junior high, seen here, is currently being demolished.  Local officials attended a farewell ceremony on December 14, 2012 to bid a final farewell to the old junior high, and officially welcome the YMCA to Exeter.  Speakers included Town Manager Russ Dean (a former junior high school student), SAU16 Superintendent Mike Morgan, and Rob MacGregor, representing the YMCA.
