Located at 30 Court Street in historic Exeter, the Senior Citizens Center provides a meeting space for community organizations and hosts activities such as bingo, crafts, exercise classes and bridge games each day of the week.
Transportation and meal delivery services are also available through Meals On Wheels and other senior transportation agencies.
If you wish to use the facility, there are renters rules that have been adopted by the Board of Selectmen, all of which require a certificate of insurance from an individual or organization naming the Town as an additional insured. Refer to the facility use form for specific guidelines regarding facility use. Consult the calendar for dates/times the center is already in use. Further questions regarding center use can be directed to Exeter Parks/Recreation at 773-6151.
The Exeter Senior Citizen Center opened in May 1985. The building was previously used by the Exeter Fire Department from 1927 to 1979.
