Planning Board
The Exeter Planning Board is entrusted with the task of encouraging and directing appropriate land use in the Town of Exeter. The Board uses the Exeter Master Plan as a guide in making decisions as it serves as the blueprint for growth and development of the town. The Board consists of seven members, including a Select Board Rep. serving a term concurrent with the elected term of office, and five alternates. Three year appointments are made by the Select Board as provided by RSA 673:5 III.
The board usually meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Nowak Room located in Town Offices Building. You can call the Planning & Building Department at 773-6112 for Planning Board related inquiries. The Planning & Building Dept. is open Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
