Community Power is Coming to Exeter in 2023
The Community Power Aggregation Committee has been working to bring the reality of Community Power to Exeter. Here's a brief timeline of what has happened so far and a look ahead at what's to come:
- June 2021 Exeter Select Board authorizes formation of Exeter Community Power Aggregation
- Committee
- December 2021 – Select Board approves Exeter’s Electric Aggregation Plan (EAP)
- March 2022 – Town of Exeter votes to adopt the EAP
- September 2022 – Town submits EAP to New Hampshire PUC for approval
- January 2023 - Select Board to consider policies for implementing Community Power
- April 2023 – Anticipated launch of Exeter’s community power program
