OmniBallot Tablet Brings Accessible Voting to Exeter

Exeter, NH - March 10th, 2023: Exeter is one of only two municipalities in the State of NH offering fully accessible voting to its residents this coming Tuesday with its Omniballot tablet voting system. Residents who are unable to mark traditional ballots without assistance can now use the OmniBallot tablet system to cast their votes independently and privately. Using a tablet, keyboard, mouse, and headphones it provides voters with several options for navigating the ballots and helps the Town meet its accessibility requirements under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). The system is not just for the visually impaired and any voter is encouraged to use the system if they wish.
