2007 Skateboard Park Renovation

A small crew of young men works to get new skate rails in place

From a concrete jungle to state of the art skateboarding ramps

Years ago, volunteers came together to build John C Littlefield Memorial Skate Park.  At the time, the park was state of the art with its concrete ramps.  Over time, the ramps deteriorated to the point the park became unusable.  With the help of the LWCF grant, a generous donation by the Littlefield family and the revolving fund, We were able to renovate the entire skateboard park.  We removed the concrete ramps, paved and added new Skatewave skateboard ramps.   The park looks as good now as the day it was installed.
