Recreation Park
This park offers it all!
The Recreation Park on 4 Hampton Rd was built in 1978 and has since grown into the center of Exeter recreational needs. The park has 8 tennis courts, 2 full size basketball courts, 2 full size softball fields, 1 baseball field, Planet Playground and the Daniel R. Healy memorial Pool.

One of the biggest attractions we have to offer at the Recreation Park is Planet Playground.
In March 2016, Exeter Parks & Recreation had Planet Playground inspected by Leathers & Associated. One of the conclusions was that the wooden structures should be replaced with powder coated steel manufactured apparatuses, among other necessary safety compliance modifications.
The Exeter Parks and Recreation has since commissioned several companies to draft new playground designs for the town to select from. To be consistent with the name we asked that the new playgrounds be space themed.
