Exeter, NH - April 4th, 2023: It's that time of year again where residents with man's best friend need to take a trip to the Town Clerk's Office or visit the website to register their dogs. Every owner or keeper of a dog four months old or older is required by NH state law to register their dog. Licenses are effective from May 1st of each year to April 30th of the following year.

The Town Clerk's Office only receives information that residents send in. If a dog owners moves out of Town or has pets pass away, they can go into the Town's online system to update their pet information to avoid getting a notice from the Town.
