The Finance Department has several annual reporting responsibilities.  The Department works with the Town's independent auditors to coordinate its annual financial statement audit.  Periodically throughout the year, the Finance Director reports to the Select Board on year-to-date budget performance.  Finance also coordinates submission of required financial reports to the State of New Hampshire.  Finally, the Department plays an integral role in the Town's annual budget process.  Questions regarding these reports or the reporting process may be directed to the Finance Director. 

The Town of Exeter uses Melanson as its independent auditors.
