The Town is looking for volunteers that wish to join and serve on the newly created Tax Exemption and Credit Advisory Committee. The group is tasked with researching and reviewing all Town tax exemption and credit programs. In addition, the committee is charged with researching available credit and exemption programs the Town has not adopted to make recommendations on whether these should be adopted, and at what level.

The advisory committee has five vacant positions made up of Exeter residents. Terms for initial memberships for 1, 2, and 3 years, and become 3 year terms after that.

Serving on the advisory committee is a great way to learn more about the Town's tax exemptions and credits and make a positive impact for the community. Interested residents can contact Pam McElroy, Senior Executive Assistant with questions or to submit a Volunteer Application via email at pmcelroy@exeternh.gov.
