Exeter 2023 Property Tax Rate set at $26.78/1,000

Exeter, NH - The Department of Revenue Administration has certified Exeter’s property tax rate for 2023 at $26.78 per 1,000. This is an increase of $2.03/1,000, from the 2022 rate of $24.75 per 1,000 of assessed valuation.

The Town share of the tax rate increased from $5.96/1,000 to $6.23/1,000. The local school rate increased from $16.46 per 1,000 to $17.72/1,000. The state education rate increased from $1.45 per 1,000 to $1.87. The county tax rate increased, going from $.88/1,000 to $.96/1,000 of assessed value.
