7/19/24 - Curb installation is complete. The rapid flash beacon was installed at Riverwoods Dr and White Oak Dr.  Guardrail should be reinstalled before this week is over.  Next week's work will consist of:  placing concrete for the walkway tipdowns; grinding shoulder seams in preparation of paving; finish paving for the sidewalk and remaining roadway shoulders.

7/16/24 -  On July 22nd and July 23rd the Highway Department will be cleaning out the catch basins in the downtown area starting at 5am on both days. This is to ensure the crews have access to the catch basins. Some noise is anticipated while we use the Vactor truck. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. 

7/15/2024: Construction for the Webster Ave Pump Station and Force Main Upgrade Project will begin on Monday, July 15th.  The Town's contractor, Northeast Earth Mechanics, LLC., will mobilize to the construction site, install erosion controls, prepare the site for construction activities, and install sheeting for the new wetwell and valve vault. Typical working hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Noise and vibration from trucks and heavy equipment are expected. The Town has hired the engineering firm, Wright-Pierce, to assist with construction observation and administration. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this important project.

Exeter, NH - June 26th, 2024: With ongoing reevaluation process taking place and preliminary values coming out soon, the Assessing Department wants to share an informative article published in the New Hampshire Municipal Association's (NHMA) Town and City magazine.

The Exeter Public Library will be open as a cooling center on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 from 9 AM to 8 PM due to the ongoing heat advisory. The public is welcome to come in and cool off.

Exeter, NH - April 2nd, 2024: A messy snowstorm may be on the way for later Wednesday and Thursday, but it really is springtime and today the crew from Northeast Vegetation & Mosquito Control began surveying sites here in Exeter in search of mosquito larvae.
