Hampton Road and High Street Cross Country Sewer Maintenance Fri 11/15/24 |
The Exeter Public Works Department will be mowing the cross-country sewer main along the Town’s right-of-way from Phinney Lane to Gilman Lane. This work is set to begin on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Mowing will be performed during the day between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Weather permitting this work will take approximately two (2 ) weeks to complete. The equipment to be used will be a mini-tracked excavator with a flail mower. The work is expected to be finished by November 26th, weather permitting. Abutters of this project will be notified. |

A new fence was installed at the future site of Pairpoint Park on Thursday, November 7th, 2024. Several departments including Planning, Parks & Rec, Building, and Public Works joined members of the Pairpoint Park Stakeholders Committee, and other community members to take down the old dilapidated fence located at 23 Water Street to open up the beautiful river views hidden for many years. |

Curbside Collection Fri 10/25/24 |
Leaf and grass curbside pick-up will be November 18th - 22nd on your regular pick-up day. Waste Management will pick up leaves and grass twice, once in the spring & once in the fall. The collection will be limited to 12 leaf bags per residence. Leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags. Leaves & grass can also be taken to the Transfer Station during normal hours of operation (no permit or bags required). There is no limit to the number of leaves brought to the Transfer Station. |

From October 15th - December 15th the Transfer Station will be operating on the extended hours schedule: Transfer Station Permit Reminder: As stated in the Town Ordinance (chapter 11 - 1101.1) Transfer Station permits must be affixed to the windshield, on the inside lower left corner, of each resident's vehicle. This allows the attendant to validate entry and improve traffic flow. 2025 Transfer Station permits will be available for purchase beginning 11/25/24. |
