Forest Bathing at the Little River Conservation Area

Calendar Date:
Saturday, October 1, 2022 - 9:00am to 10:30am

Forest Bathing with image of a path through the woods.

Join the Exeter Conservation Commission and special guest Kelsea Anderson, Certified Forest & Nature Therapy Guide, for this very special Forest Bathing program at the Little River Conservation Area.

Forest and nature therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice known as shinrin-yoku, which directly translates to "forest bathing". Kelsea will lead participants in a guided forest therapy walk, consisting of a sequence of nature-connection invitations. This facilitated experience holds a container for us to slow down, take note of how we are a part of the connected living systems around us, and to take in the qualities of nature through an opening of the senses.

This event is free and open to the public but for the best possible experience, registration is limited and required in order to participate.

For questions or to register, email Kristen Murphy at kmurphy@exeternh.gov
