2024-2025 Non-Coed Basketball Grades 3 & 4 Program

Registration will Start September 3, 2024

This youth, non-coed travel basketball program is for students in grades 3 and 4. This program is designed to instruct students in the fundamental aspects of the sport, while encouraging them to enjoy themselves and make new friends. This program does not stress competition, but recreation and good sportsmanship. Teams will have one practice per week and one game per weekend. Exeter is part of the Lamprey River Youth Basketball League which voted to move to a 5 on 5 format for the 3^rd and 4^th grade league for the 2024-2025 season.

Registration is open to students of Exeter and surrounding towns, on a first-come, first-served basis, starting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Registrations accepted at the recreation office during our business hours, on-line, mail or by phone. Payment is required at the time of registration. Fee increases by $10 on November 9, 2024.

We do not accept requests for your child to be placed with a specific team, player or coach. If a parent volunteers to coach, your child will be placed on the same team you will be coaching. Siblings will be placed on the same team if they are in the same age group.

Coaches determine the practice day and time therefore we cannot accept day/time requests or team change requests once rosters are completed. We will not issue refunds for schedule conflicts.

Refunds will only be granted prior to the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, refunds will only be granted with a doctor's note for severe illness or injury or, if we can fill your spot with someone from the waiting list.

Grades: Participants must be in Grade 3 or 4 by the start of 2024-2025 school year.

Evaluation: Saturday November 9, 2024 @ 9am at Lincoln Street School.

Dates: Saturdays, December 14, 2024 - February 15, 2025

Fees:

$90.00 Residents/$100.00 Non-Residents by 11/8/2024

$100.00 Residents/$110.00 Non-Residents after 11/8/2024.

Practices begin November 18, 2024. One practice during the week. Coaches determine their teams practice night/time. Games are held Saturday’s starting December 14, 2024. This is a non-competitive league so practices are optional – we will not issue refunds for schedule conflicts.

Locations: The Program will be held at Lincoln Street School, Exeter and surrounding towns in the league including but not limited to Raymond, Chester, Sanborn, and Candia.
