Trustees of Trust Funds
Mission:
The Trustees of Trust Funds are a 3 member elected board under RSA 31:22. The Trustees of Trust Funds are responsible for management of all town and school trusts. Each year the Trustees publish an annual report which shows the income and expenses of each trust. Capital reserve funds adopted by the town are also held by the Trustees of Trust Funds. The Select Board is typically designated as agent to authorize expenditure of town capital reserve funds upon a vote of the board.
2024 Warrant Articles:
The Trustees of Trust Funds are proposing warrant articles that would allow using annual income from the Town and Schools publicly funded trust funds to pay investment advisor fees to assist them in investing those funds more productively with a greater potential for larger returns. Each of these warrant articles respectively has been unanimously approved and recommended for passage by the Exeter Select Board (5-0), the Exeter Region Cooperative School District Board (6-0), and the Exeter (Elementary) School District Board (5-0).” The Trustees believe approval of the three warrant articles would be a major step forward in their ability to invest the $3.8 million in Trust Funds for which they are responsible. There is no tax impact.
