Leave the Leaves on the Trails

LEAF BLOWING POLICY

Due to concerns with loss of organic matter, channeling of water, increased soil erosion, and noise/air pollution, the Exeter Conservation Commission has adopted a policy prohibiting the blowing of leaves off of trails on conservation lands.

While we recognize this is a well debated topic, the Conservation Commission believes they have witnessed enough evidence on similarly structured trails under both conditions to warrant this decision. Please respect this policy and help ensure the long term enjoyment of trails by all users.
