Squamscott River Siphon Improvement Project regularly updated

7/26/24 - The sewers are all constructed and active as required by the project.  The previous siphon has been discontinued.  For next week, there is another sewer manhole cover in the parkway that needs to be lowered and landscaping activities will continue.

9/5/24 - On Friday, September 6th the Highway Department will be cleaning out the catch basins on Elm Street starting at 5am until noon. Crews will be out today posting "No Parking" signs near the catch basins to ensure the crews have access. Some noise is anticipated while we use the Vactor truck. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

7/26/24 - The roadway shoulders and sidewalks are completely paved.  Next week pavement striping will occur after a NHDOT inspection and approval.  The loamed areas will be hydroseeded.  There will be ongoing periodic work around the rapid flashing pedestrian beacon to install additional overhead lighting.
