Position: GIS Coordinator – Full Time

Requirements: The Town of Exeter is currently seeking a full-time GIS Coordinator for its Public Works Department. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and promotion of the GIS system and its associated layers, databases, and applications. Supports GIS integration with other town departments and systems including public and internal websites, databases, and software. Provides technical expertise and supports end-users in the use of GIS applications and tools. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, cartography, or related field and 3 to 5 years’ technical experience. Must also possess a valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record.
