Squamscott River Siphon Upgrades Project

Attached is the Town’s Invitation for Bids, Squamscott River Sewer Siphons Upgrade project. Please note that:

2. A non-mandatory in person pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on July 20, 2022 at the 279 Water Street, Exeter, NH 03833 (Main Pump Station).

3. All questions concerning this bid are to be sent to the Project Manager in writing (email is preferred) seven working days before the bid openings.

4. All bids are due to the Town Manager’s Office (address in Advertisement) in hardcopy, one original only, not later than 2:00 PM on August 8, 2022. The Bid Opening will occur at the Select Board meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Sealed BIDS for the construction of the Squamscott River Sewer Siphon Upgrades Project in the area of Swasey Parkway, 1 Jady Hill Ave., and the Squamscott River. It is intended to install a new three-barrel siphon from the east side of the Squamscott River to the west side of the river. The project scope will consist of the horizontal directional drill of three 850 LF barrels ranging in size from 10-inch to 12-inch, new inlet and outlet siphon structures and rerouting of the upstream sewer to the new access structure.

BIDS will be received by the Town of Exeter, NH at the Town Manager’s Office in the Town Office Building (10 Front Street, Exeter, NH 03833) until 2:00 PM local time on Monday, August 8, 2022. The BIDS will be opened and read aloud at the Select Board meeting at 7:00 PM that evening.
