2011 Vernal Pool Workshop

In May 2011, the Exeter Conservation Commission in conjunction with the Exeter River Local Advisory Committee and Seekamp Environmental, hosted a vernal pool workshop.  The event consisted of a brief slideshow presentation discussing the importance of these ephemeral habitats followed by a field excursion to observe first hand the unique amphibians and insects that depend on vernal pools.
